It really is though. I was just outside for a few minutes sitting on my step. I was just looking around and noticing all of the snow in our big yard has finally melted, and little patches of green are coming out places, and we even have a four little purple flowers peeking themselves out of the ground. It made me realize how beautiful spring really is, and how there are all these tiny little beautiful ascepts of life that so many people just take for granted.
It's as if somewhere along the line of time us humans somehow became too busy to stop and smell the roses. With so many of us living busy lives and always worrying about what we have to do next instead of focusing on what you're doing now, we can often forget about the simple pleasures and the beauty in that that life has to offer.
Right now, then sun is shining, it's a tad bit windy and it's warming up but still not quite sweater weather, but still I'd consider today a beautiful day. I think we often expect too much of mother nature. When spring starts, we all just want the warm, nice days, we want summer to get here so we can break out our shorts and t-shirts and sandals and whatnot. We just want to rush spring along, because although we love spring, a lot of us love summer a bit more. I just want to apologize to spring, for in the past I have became inpatient with you and if I had the power, would have rushed you right along. However, my feelings have changed. I love the slight warming up of the days, even if sometimes you drop it back to cold just for fun. I love watching the grass go from this light dead tan color to their bright green potential. It's just a great time to take a breath, close your eyes, then take a look around and just embrace life and be thankful that you have been blessed with the chance to live your life.
